Diego Roshardt wanted to build a mobile app and paid an Upwork designer hundreds of dollars, plus extra for every change. He built an AI design tool MVP in about two weeks using popular frameworks and UI component libraries, then marketed it purely on Reddit with a warmed-up account, targeted subreddits and posts that also plug complementary tools. With under 100 X followers, he reached $17K MRR in four months with 1K+ paying customers.
