How it started
Angus Cheng, a Hong Kong-based developer who had worked at a bank and a crypto exchange, quit his job and wanted years of bank data in one spreadsheet, but his bank only offered PDFs. He wrote a Kotlin parser, a friend built a Next.js UI, and they launched within a week in 2021, buying Google Ads to validate. Building features from real user feedback, he grew it solo and bootstrapped to $40K MRR (~$39K profit) with ~1,000 paying customers.
