How it started
Vikash, from India, did Photoshop freelance jobs on Upwork and taught himself JavaScript in a day to script Photoshop for a client. When a print-on-demand client wanted 1,800 mockups, he finished in 30 minutes and sold the script for $300, which became BulkMockup. He sold it as a lifetime deal for years before hiring an Upwork developer to make it a subscription product, and grows via a 'content flywheel' of YouTube tutorials built from customer pain points.
