How it started
Kyle Fowler, a self-taught developer and lifelong card collector, wanted to catalog his cards and found no app for it, so he built Cardstock six years ago with Swift and SwiftUI, learning largely from Stack Overflow. It grew from three guys in a basement to a five-person team. In 2025 he built Scanémon for Pokémon cards, generating the MVP in a day with Cursor's agent.
