How it started
Jonathan, a developer, first tried building an AI database client but developers wouldn't grant credentials or install software, so he pivoted to ChartDB, which turns a database into a visual diagram with no access or install needed. After three weeks of development he launched on Hacker News and hit the front page, gaining thousands of users in a day. The open-source repo (21K+ GitHub stars, 250K developers) feeds the paid cloud version.
