How it started
Pontus Abrahamsson and his friend Viktor have spent two years bootstrapping their startup Midday and build open-source side projects. On a flight to France he noticed there was no central place for Cursor rules, called Viktor on landing, and they built the site in about three hours. Posts on X (~1M impressions), the Hacker News front page and YouTuber coverage drove millions of visitors; revenue comes from paid job listings and featured placements.
