How it started
Andy Cloke, a London-based freelance React developer, previously built and sold a TikTok influencer directory SaaS. While pulling financial data into Airtable for a newsletter idea he hit the problem himself, and seeing Google Sheets' API Connector succeed, he built an equivalent for Airtable's new marketplace, validating via Airtable forums. Marketplace distribution and content marketing grew it to ~600 customers and $23K MRR as a solo founder.
