How it started
Elephas was started in 2022 by Ayush's partner (the developer), who hired Ayush as a marketing consultant after he left an 11-year corporate job; he later became co-founder. They first grew on niche subreddits with feature demo videos and feedback requests, reaching $3K MRR in six months. They then accidentally discovered SEO via help articles and scaled with low-competition listicles, making about $70K from Google in 2023, now also cited by AI answer engines.
