How it started
Milly, a self-described hardcore generalist, disagreed with the stigma around being a generalist and set out to change how generalists see themselves and how the world sees them. Over four years she built Generalist World into a newsletter, members community, job board, summer school and even an International Generalist Day, from a Scottish island of 191 people. The business has made nearly $600K, run as a solo founder with a small team and a calm, sustainable work style.
