How it started

Louis, from Canada, dropped out of software engineering and built around 10 apps that failed because he built before marketing. For GlowUp, he and a co-founder studied TikTok makeup video comments, made content about the idea first and, once it went viral, quickly built an MVP. It got 100K users in about three days, hit #1 in Lifestyle on the App Store and made $800K in its first year, all from organic TikTok.
