How it started
Romàn, a former mechanical engineer, moved into affiliate marketing and freelancing, then launched Coco AI in 2023, scaled it to $50K MRR with outreach and sold it. Realizing outreach was what made it work, he co-founded Gojiberry AI around that acquisition method. Its early growth came from Reddit: story posts (drafted by voice in ChatGPT) generated 11M+ impressions and 40K+ visitors, landing the first ~100 customers.
