How it started
Ken spent 12 years in big tech (software engineer at Amazon, engineering manager at Meta) and hadn't coded in four years when AI tools took off in early 2024. He built a simple card game (Big 2 Wild) in about six weeks to learn shipping end to end, then built Harpagia for fans of incremental games like RuneScape, launching while still employed. With no audience or marketing budget, a single Reddit post took revenue from ~$1K to over $10K/month, and Reddit posting remained his main growth channel.
