How it started

Brian Shin and his girlfriend carried disposable cameras while traveling and wanted a digital version keeping its magical limitations. They built a web app in 1-2 weeks and tested it at a Halloween party, refusing to build the real app until a 'commitment metric' (hosts using it at events) was hit. They then rebuilt it as a native app with hand-crafted design, launched in December 2025, and hit $20K/month within 83 days.
