How it started
Jack consulted for agencies and ecommerce brands for years and kept building P&L spreadsheets for clients. After a developer declined to build it, he exported the spreadsheet as CSV, fed it to Cursor and iterated with AI despite not knowing how to code, spending hundreds of hours in Codex as well. Shopify approved the app on Christmas Day; it reached $147K total revenue by May, with ~$30K MRR from the app plus ~$40K MRR from services.
