How it started
KC Holiday was a waiter/bartender in a Beverly Hills restaurant managed by his future co-founder Ted; both newly married, they kept taking off their rings for workouts and found no alternative existed. They emptied their savings, KC moved in with his mom, crashed a manufacturer meeting, and survived an unsellable first inventory batch. The Shopify store launched to zero sales until press/interviews brought the first wave of orders, and free email marketing became a key growth driver.
