How it started

Adrian Horning, a solo developer from Austin, learned to code at App Academy, worked three years as an engineer, then freelanced and built a course without much success. A Twitter follower pointed him to a scraping API listed on Acquire.com doing $30K MRR from SEO alone; with three years of scraping experience, he rebuilt it in a couple of weeks. Twitter outreach, SEO and competitor research grew it to 600 paying users and ~20M API requests a month.
