Dickie Bush played football at Princeton, studied math and CS, and became a BlackRock hedge fund trader, but felt his effort wasn't rewarded. He started writing online at 4:30am before work; a tweet led to a ghostwriting gig that paid $5K via a PayPal link. He scaled into products instead of done-for-you services and didn't quit his job until making $1M/year.
