How it started
Domenico Gagliardi, an economics graduate and non-technical analyst, started a 'build and sell' challenge in January 2022 to launch, validate and sell a micro-business every 30 days while employed. He sold six AI micro-SaaS tools (Pitch 2.0, OneTap AI, yourcoverletter.com, RecapGPT, Tweetsbot, AIwebdesigner) for about $60K combined, validating via landing pages, X and building in public. Applying the same playbook, he grew Softgen from $20K to $500K ARR in three months and sold it for over $1M.
