How it started

Ben Bozzay, a software developer, had several failed side projects (a freelancer lead-gen platform, a landing page builder) and a web agency. In 2020 he built his own system to curb his internet use and shared it in a YouTube video and Reddit post, which drew many requests; he kept making free content for a year before monetizing. When he was laid off in 2023 at ~$3K/month, he went full-time and grew it to $15K MRR.
