John Rush spent 10 years building VC-backed startups before switching to bootstrapping in 2022. He bought Unicorn Platform for almost $1M on the condition that its founder mentor him for a year. He validates ideas from his own pain via waitlists and 90%-off pre-sales before building, grows via SEO, daily cross-platform social posting and directory listings, and cross-promotes and integrates his 20+ tools.
